Aquamedic Calciumreactor 400
The Calciumreactor 400 is a completely sealed reactor system to supply dissolved calcium and calcium bicarbonate ions to reef aquaria up to 400 litres (c.100 gal) operating at a very low flow rate. This unit provides the calcium hydrocarbonate that hard coral require to build their exoskeletons.
The filter can be installed in almost any position, inside or outside the aquarium or the cabinet. For the water flow, we recommend the Dosing pump SP 3000. The reactor is filled with Hydrocarbonate – a pure form of calcium carbonate with an extremely low phosphate level. For optimum control and the most economic use of the Co2 gas, we recommend the reactor be used in conjunction with an Aqua Medic pH controller. The reactor is already equipped to accept our pressurised electrode. Dimensions (without electrode) : 14.4 x 10 x 37 cm (c. 5.8”x 4” x 14.5”) ( L x W x H)
Optional Assessories:
Aqua Medic ph Computer or
Aqua Medic ph Controller
Aqua Medic Co2 Complete
Pressure resistant pH probe - short
PG13.5 threaded connection
Dosing pump SP 3000
Hydrocarbonate as refill

Aquamedic Sulphur Nitratereductor SR 400
Nitratefilter with sulphur beads, Postfilter with Hydrocarbonate. The Sulphur Reactor is a Bioreactor filled with sulphur beads. They promote the growth of special bacteria, that remove nitrate. The Sulphur Reactor should always be used in combination with the Hydrocarbonate Reactor. Inside the Hydrocarbonate Reactor, the sulphuric acid, that is produced in the Sulphur Reactor, is neutralised.

Aquamedic Bypassreactor BR 1000
Bypassreactor BR 1000 -large volume universal reactor for chemical and biological media. The Bypass reactor BR 1000 can be connected to all open (non pressurised)filtration systems. It is suitable for any filter media whose optimum performance is achieved at low flow rates such as Carbolit activated carbon, phosphate absorbers like antiphos and antiphos Fe, biological nitratereducers and pH buffers such as sulphur beads and hydrocarbonate and aquapeat granules for lowering the hardness and the pH of the water in freshwater aquariums.
The vessel ’s large 10 litre volume also allows for the combination of different materials, like sulphur beads and hydrocarbonate, in one reactor.
Dimensions: 17 x 17 x 56 cm (c. 6" x 6 “ x 22 “) (l x w x h);
Volume: 10 litres (c.2.5 gal);
Connections: inlet 4/6 mm hose (1/4"), open outlet 16 mm (0.63") pipe.

Aquamedic Carbolit Reactor
The carbolitreactor is a compact chemical filtration chamber for aquarium use. It can be installed in line with any standard canister filter or used with a separate pump. The carbolitreactor contains one litre of pH neutral carbolit. The carbolitreactor can be used for fresh and salt water aquaria. One filling lasts, depending on the load and use, for between 10 days (for removal of medications) to up to 12 months (for long term use as biological filter) in a 400 litre (c. 100 gallon) aquarium.
Diameter 80 mm (c.3.2")
Length 35.5 cm (c. 14")
Hose connection 16 mm (c. 2/3")
